Free Urdu Bibles Distribution in Pakistan.

Christmas is the most joyous season for Christians around the world, and for the believers of Pakistan, it holds a particularly deep significance. In a country where Christians are a minority, the celebration of Christ’s birth is both an act of worship and a courageous declaration of faith. As Good Samaritan Ministries Pakistan, we want to take this moment to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas — not the tinsel and festivities, but the profound love of a God who sent His only Son so that we might have eternal life.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). This single verse captures the heart of Christmas. It is the story of divine love breaking into human history — a love so vast that it could not be contained in heaven but had to come down to earth in the form of a helpless infant in a manger. For Pakistani Christians, many of whom face hardship and persecution, this message of love and salvation is not abstract theology — it is a lifeline.

This Christmas, Good Samaritan Ministries distributed thousands of free Urdu Bibles and special Christmas gift packages to families across Pakistan. Under the guidance of Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir, our teams visited churches, orphanages, and communities in need, sharing the gift of God’s Word alongside food parcels, clothing, and Christmas sweets for children. For many families, these Bibles were the most treasured gift they received — a gift that will continue giving for generations.

As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, let us remember those who are less fortunate. Let us pray for the persecuted Church in Pakistan and around the world. And let us commit to sharing the love of Christ — not just at Christmas, but every day of the year. From our family at Good Samaritan Ministries to yours: may the peace of Christ fill your hearts, and may the joy of His salvation be your strength. Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!
