Good Samaritan Ministries Pakistan has set an ambitious and faith-filled goal: to distribute one million free Urdu Bibles across Pakistan by the year 2033. We call it Vision 2033, and it is the largest Bible distribution initiative ever undertaken for the Urdu-speaking world. This is not merely an organizational target — it is a God-given mandate that we carry with humility, urgency, and unwavering faith.
Why 2033? The year marks the 2,000th anniversary of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ — the most transformative event in human history. We believe there is no more fitting way to commemorate this milestone than by ensuring that the Word of God reaches every corner of Pakistan. With an estimated 3 million Christians in the country and millions more who are open to reading the Scriptures, the need is staggering. Currently, Bible poverty remains one of the greatest obstacles to spiritual growth among Pakistani believers.
Under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir, Good Samaritan Ministries has already distributed over 150,000 free Urdu Bibles. But to reach one million, we must dramatically expand our operations. Our plan includes establishing regional Bible distribution hubs in all four provinces of Pakistan, strengthening our partnerships with local churches and pastors, launching mobile distribution teams for hard-to-reach areas, and developing a digital request system so that anyone in Pakistan can request a free Urdu Bible online and receive it at their doorstep.
Vision 2033 is a calling that extends beyond our ministry. It is an invitation to the global Church to join hands in one of the most strategic mission opportunities of our generation. Pakistan is the fifth most populous country on earth, and its Christian community is growing. The harvest is plentiful.
