Pastors are the backbone of the Christian community in Pakistan. They shepherd congregations in the face of adversity, lead worship with limited resources, and counsel families through some of life’s most difficult trials. Yet a shocking number of pastors across Pakistan do not have enough Bibles for their own congregations — and some do not even own a personal study Bible. Good Samaritan Ministries is on a mission to change this by providing free Urdu Bibles to pastors and churches throughout the country.
Our Pastor Support Program, led by Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir, identifies churches and pastors in underserved areas who are in urgent need of Bibles. We provide each participating pastor with a personal study Bible, along with bulk copies of the Urdu Bible for distribution among their church members. To date, we have supported over 500 pastors across Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan, equipping them with the resources they need to teach and disciple their congregations effectively.
The impact of this program has been extraordinary. Pastors report that having sufficient Bibles has transformed their Sunday services, small group studies, and youth programs. One pastor in rural Sindh shared: “Before Good Samaritan Ministries sent us Bibles, I would read aloud and the people would listen. Now every family has their own copy. They read at home, they discuss the Scriptures with their children, and the spiritual growth in our church has been incredible.” These testimonies affirm that when the Word of God is accessible, faith flourishes.
If you are a pastor or church leader in Pakistan and need free Urdu Bibles for your congregation, we encourage you to contact Good Samaritan Ministries directly. There is no cost and no obligation — our only desire is to see the Church in Pakistan strengthened through the Word of God. For our global partners and supporters, your generous contributions make this program possible. Every donation helps us print, ship, and distribute Bibles to pastors who are serving on the front lines of faith in Pakistan. Together, we are building a stronger, more Scripture-grounded Church across the nation.
